FIPADOC is a festival aiming at both professional and general public audiences. It lasts 6 days in the third week of January in Biarritz (France). FIPADOC showcases top-tier non-fiction works and bring creators together for a festive occasion fostering exchanges and the initiation of new projects. FIPADOC presents a full of entertaining and challenging documentaries: more than 100 short, medium, and full length films, from individual to series. An exciting stop in the European documentary circuit.An international selection of over 77 feature length original works (over 65% European)- Films made every screen (TV, theaters, platforms, phones) presented on the big screen, with the directors, available for Q&As and masterclasses in French and English.- Competition: 4 grand prizes (International, National, Music, Impact), international juries, New Talents competition...- Large prospecting, partnerships with several festivals.A festival for the general public (25.142 entries) with :- Public screenings followed by Q & A with the film crews, Conferences with renowned directors.- FIPADOC Campus: Young Europeans Jury, image education actions for middle school, high school, during the festival and throughout the year, screenings (winning films of the competitions, youth films...) throughout the Region Nouvelle Aquitaine - 369 students as part of educational projects.- SMART FIPADOC: a-3-day presentation of 20 digital creation, VR, web documentaries... A platform for professional meetings (1.728 accredited; 43 countries): "FIPADOC Industry" is a place of inspiration and meetings around the media landscape and its future (conferences, line-up, and meet-up networking ...) in addition to introducing Impact tools for better promotion. FIPADOC NOMAD, a strategy to disseminate the festivals films in the Region and beyond borders. FIPADOC ONLINE offers digital access of the festival films for professionals.
